Bonds are losing their appeal

Bonds remain unappealing as growth recovers, however UK Gilts are the 'least unattractive' of the major markets.

Our #evidencebased market indicators were largely unchanged at month end.

Equities and Gold remain the asset classes of choice in this environment of suppressed real yields from Bond and Credit markets. Growth is improving, albeit at a sluggish pace, and there is scope for inflation expectations to continue rising in coming months.

In the equity space we continue to favour Growth over Value, Emerging Markets and have a slight preference for Europe over the US.
